Let me point out a parallel argument from a cold atheistic perspective: there is no possible reason the general treasury should fund any political organization that advances any political argument; and although the Pride octopus presents itself as merely as merely a large, icky and endless party, it is of course an advocacy machine. If it merely advocated not persecuting people for their strange private desires, it would not exist, since that battle's been won for decades. Now the Pridester machine advocates for surgical modification of children, the general display of Mapplethorpian BDSM porn, something something Palestine, and much besides: it works for political goals that are, at minimum, contestable, and that at the maximal end are stomach-turning, societally disastrous, and plainly stupid. So, obviously, no God or Jesus is req'd to conclude: not one thin public dime for this weird group of NGO entities/ leather-vested interests. As to the enterprises who, however briefly, signed on to this frequently-naked crusade? They can only have been temporarily prevented, by the usual HR ladies, from understanding markets, public opinion, and, indeed the world.

I'm not precisely sure where you stand, but I think the West's Christian heritage may be doing more heavy lifting in informing the "obviousness" of revulsion than you think.
Many pagan/animist cultures happily incorporate various inhumanities into their respective cultural liturgies we in the West would consider stomach-turning. Of course, as we become increasingly pagan ourselves, such moral gradations will become increasing indistinct (i.e. we have now institutionalized the murder of our infants and elderly.)
