Excellent way to state this. I often tell women that it isn't that women can't lead, it's that men NEED to lead to fulfill their God-given design and purpose. When women usurp men's roles, men have no purpose. When they have no purpose, they stop being who they were designed to be and everyone loses.
Thank you Chris for this message. It gives such clarity of purpose & meaning to God's order of things & people. We will shine as lights in the darkness of this world if we walk according to God's commands, remembering that he has purpose in all he asks of us.
Yes, yes, yes! The answer to today's drifting sense of purposelessness is this. We were put on this good earth to reproduce. Life loves life. That's it, c'est tout.
This is a great article except I have one small criticism and that is cultural renewal doesn’t flow from Family to Church to State, if this were the case Calvin‘s Geneva would never have developed into what it became. Calvin‘s influence came through the work the church was doing in Geneva by correcting many wrongs over the years. It was not first families in Geneva, which became faithful, and then the church became faithful - it was each realm, Sovereign in its own area and faithful to the Word. God covenanting with us is an interesting and often neglected area ( when it actually the Key to everything). Man tends to form God in his image. This is the problem in each realm, in its own distinct area. Faithfulness flows from covenantal faithfulness in each realm not flowing from one realm to the next.
